I think MTV's Jackass, Viva La Bam, and NBC's Fear Factor should be paying royalties to Ron & Ron for copying all of their stuff. All of the imitators (Stern, Opie & Anthony, Bubba, Cowhead, and many others) owe a debt of gratitude (and maybe some money) to Ron & Ron for blazing the trail and being the inspiration for what they do everyday.
